We purchased a Strip Tec 3000 a couple months ago. We are electricians, not a scrap yard so the purchase of a wire stripper had to be cost effective. In the last two months I figure we have recouped half the cost of the unit. I am very happy with the construction of the unit, it is heavy duty. We picked it up ourselves at the headquarters in FT Worth. I wanted to see the unit before I bought it and the staff at the factory was very helpful in showing me the different models. I am tight with my money and don't spend it lightly, I must tell you that I am totally satisfied with this unit. It is surprisingly quite and we have stripped from 6 to 600 mcm. The bigger it gets the easier it strips. When the men come in and have a half hour to quitting time , instead of standing round they now have wire to strip!
